This is a guide to secure your iphone 4 if you ever jailbreak it..

Run Cydia and navigate through / Manage/ Sources/ Edit/ select Add
input http://cydia.xsellize.com

Use cydia search to find and install the current beta Terminal for iOS4 (just search for terminal as only 2 download options appeared on mine and the ios4 compatible terminal is clearly marked)

Hit the home button on your phone and run terminal (note that passwords and commands below are shown with quotes. do NOT enter the quotes as they are solely to identify the relevant required input data)

Type in “su root” and hit RETURN.

Type the root password “alpine” and hit RETURN.

You are now logged in as root. Type “passwd” and hit RETURN.

input a new password (dont do a short simple one) and hit RETURN. You won’t see anything being entered on the terminal screen during password entries so pay attention to what you are typing on the keypad.

the iPhone will now ask you to retype the new password, so type in your newly created password and hit RETURN.

Type Exit

Respring and thats it for the root password.

Dont forget to change your mobile$ password as well while you are here. It is done almost exactly the same as the root apart from one difference.

Run Terminal and you will see it says mobile$ on screen and is waiting for a command.


Type “passwd” and touch RETURN. You will be prompted for the original default mobile “alpine” password here so enter it and hit RETURN

input a new password (for ease of use use the same new password you used for the root password) and hit RETURN. (as before, you won’t see anything during password entries so pay attention to what you are typing on the keypad).

it will now prompt you to retype the new password, so type in your new password and hit RETURN. (Nothing is shown to say it has worked here, the software only gives you a message if your confirmation password entry fails to match the new password just entered

Type Exit

Respring and thats it, Job done and both passwords changed.

then get your iphone 4 wifi ip address

Ok once completed open the WinSCP in your windows. I tested it on Windows 7 64 bit. no issue..

key in the hostname: ip address of your apple iphone 4 connected to the same wifi router as your pc
key in username: root
key in password: alpine

and click on the login button.

Click on the "Update" or "Copy Key"

Once it is loaded browse to

on the left pane are the extracted papago maps you downloaded from malfreemaps located on your pc. on your right pane is the file on your iphone 4.

You can select all the files on your left pane and drag the file to your right pane. when asked whether to overwrite duplicate files. choose "Yes to All"

Need for Speed Hot Pursuit runs in very low fps but players usually do not know what to do. Is the Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 GHZ or AMD Athlonx2 5200+ 2.7ghz CPU causing the low fps problem?

1. To fix this, you'd first try lowing setting in frame rate.

2. Update your CPU to the latest or new ones if you want to play max out games like Dirt 2. A 2.7ghz CPU or 3.0ghz will not run Need for Speed Hot Pursuit (Forthcoming patches) in low fps.

3. Update drivers if you are facing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit low fps on PC. This will improve the GPU performance. AA can be enabled by new AMD Catalyst 10.11 Video Card Driver for Win7.

4. The game may require patched. Download a new released patch to update your game. Latest Patches for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2010.

5. Meet the minimum requirements similar to 2.4ghz AMD dual core. You can only play some slideshow in minimum.

6. Update console hardware if they have been outdated. The console CPU is much weaker than PC's.

By these solutions, your Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2010 low fps issue will be greatly improved

Hi if you are using alienware m11x with windows 7 64 bit to play call of duty : black ops and you want to open the game console..then most probably you are fumbling your way to get the config.cfg file..

well the actual location of this file is here

C:\Users\Yumero\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty - Black Ops\players\

Cause i have been searching high and low for the players folder and there it is hiding there..

the reason i wanna mess with the config.cfg file is because i wanna enable the console in COD black ops.

2. Now search for “seta monkeytoy”. You can press CTRL+F and type it in.
3. Change seta monkeytoy “1″ to seta monkeytoy “0″, replacing 1 with zero.
4. Save the changed you made in the config and start the game. Now you can access the dev console by pressing tild key (~).

Mission select, "Five" Zombies mode map, Dead Ops Arcade game, and Zork game
Enter "3ARC UNLOCK" as a code to unlock the "Five" Zombies mode map, Dead Ops Arcade game, Zork: The Great Underground Empire text-based adventure game, and all missions.
All Intel
Enter "3ARC INTEL" as a code to unlock all Intel. Note: Enabling this code will prevent the "Closer Analysis" achievement from being earned.

Dead Ops Arcade game
Enter "DOA" as a code to unlock the Dead Ops Arcade game, which is a zombie killing mini-game similar to Smash TV. Use the Left Analog-stick to move and the Right Analog-stick to shoot. Note: Play the Dead Ops Arcade game to get the "Insert Coin" achievement.
Zork game
Enter "ZORK" or "HELLO SAILOR" as a code to unlock the Zork: The Great Underground Empire text-based adventure game. Note: Play the Zork game to get the "Eaten By A Grue" achievement.
Display all commands
Enter "HELP" as a code to display a list of system commands in the terminal and Pentagon user e-mail access.
Open corresponding file
Enter "CAT [filename]" or "PRINT [filename]" as a code to open the corresponding file.
List audio files and pictures
Enter "DIR" as a code to display a list of audio files and pictures for use with "CAT" command.
List of login names
Enter "WHO" as a code to display a list of login names for use with the "RLOGIN" command (requires passwords).
Login
Enter "LOGIN" as a code to login with a corresponding username and password.
Open mail folder for current user
Enter "MAIL" as a code to open the mail folder for the current user.
Display contents of current directory
Enter "DIR" or "LS" as a code to display the contents of the current directory.
Encode a string using the CIA's cypher
Enter "ENCODE" as a code to encode a string using the CIA's cypher.
Decode a string using the CIA's cypher
Enter "DECODE" as a code to decode a string using the CIA's cypher.
Display "Fee Fie Foe Foo!"
Enter "FOOBAR" as a code to display "Fee Fie Foe Foo!"

Macro of a butterfly wing

This is their food.

My gear of the day is Olympus E-3 + Zuiko digital 70-300 vs Olympus E-P2 + Zuiko digital 50mm f2.0
And also a FL-50R flash to share among these 2 setup.

Both are macro lens giving 1:2 magnification. It is not so bad carrying these 2 setup cause e-p2 is quite light.

Some claim that the butterfly is fast and constantly moving..but the real trick in capturing their photo is to know them. Butterfly in the farm feeding time is at around 9 am in the morning. You will notice more of them come and feed on the nectar more frequent compare to let say 12pm. So even if you are arm with a Olympus PEN with slow AF you can still get a decent picture of the butterfly.

Just like chinese strategem always say.."To win the war , know your enemy" . You do not need a full frame camera and a SLR with world fastest AF. In fact using FF SLR for macro is a lil bit disadvantage because of the DOF.

This round i am going to post those pictures capture using PEN E-P2 + Zuiko 50mm f2.0. Focussing is tricky. I have to set the AF point to single point cause using multipoint will confuse the camera into focusing the leaves or flower instead of the butterfly. single AF point with S-AF is fine. I did try manual focussing and it is not too bad..with the large LCD it is easy but unfortunately i did not bring any tripod and my shaky hand did not help either..so i stick back to Auto focus.
