Every chinese new year devotees come to Tien Hou Temple to pray..this year is more happening cause they got show..singers, performer, etc..

I suspect Olympus is launching another flagship the Olympus E5.

The Olympus E3 is way overdue.. even the latest E-P1 have better sensor and IQ compare to your flagship. What a shame..

The list of stuff i would like to see in the upcoming Olympus E5 are:-

1. Better high iso performance. give me at least an usable iso 3200
2. Smaller and lighter.
3. Add in Auto HDR
4. Add in Art filter
5. Add in Panorama Sweep function just like the sony ..
6. Add in GPS tag support
7. Higher FPS..make it at least 10 fps. Otherwise dont call it a flagship...
8. Improve noise reduction function. I still see hot pixel in long exposure..damn it.
9. Improve the auto gradation function. Right now turning it on will do more harm than good to the photo Image quality
10. Video recording in HD 30 fps and 24 fps mode enabled
11. Stereo audio recording capability
12. Make it really weatherseal as i hear more than 1 encounter where sand got stuck on the button and some other area..or should i say..pls make it sand proof?

anyway in another 10 days i would know if my prayer has been answered or not

On this chinese new year eve i was so piss off when i reach teluk intan...cause there is a blackout..come on TNB you can do better than tat...to add salt to injury i found out that in bahau there are some intermittent water cut out...WTF!!! wat is happening... pls buck up...

Version 1.3 will address the occasional freezing of the camera display while manually focusing

i would say this is a useless update..please give me ways to use AF asssit on my fl-36R or dump me a couple of art filter like diorama then i am happy.

I attended Joe McNally - Let There Be Light seminar recently in Shangri La hotel. At first i feel silly. I was thinking why would i pay rm380 to attend a seminar just to listen to some marketing talk and most probably another prograganda to promote the wedshooter.tv website or worst another nikon marketing agenda.

But I was wrong..the opening by Louis Pang is very inspiring too. The Guerilla Lighting guide by Louis Pang shows us what to expect and do during a typical boring wedding shots. A few tricks was shared during this session but somehow i hate the idea of Louis keep on emphasizing on the promotion of the wedshooter.tv i mean i dont pay rm380 to come here to listen to some marketing talk. I know rm380 is not a lot to others but it means a lot to me. Other than this i would rate Louis as a very humble guy who is good in wedding shot and most probably over emphasized on this wedshooter.tv promo that day.

Then after 12 the auction session begin to auction off a few masterpiece by Joe. No guessing the pic of Datuk Michelle Yeoh hanging from a helicopter over the Hollywood sign manage to get the highest amount fetch that day,,rm5000

When Joe session starts everyone was very eager..at first he show some 1 flash technique and i was like WTF not all these basic session again..oh no...then some boucing technique..i was like..damn..i feel cheated..then he switch over to the umbrella and then softbox and then ...u get the idea..i feel relieve..excited..cause i am glad i was wrong again..what Joe just did was to show us from the very basic 1 flash setup to errmm let say 5 flash setup ! and to show us how to use different light modifier to create differnt masterpiece.

I am also glad that i dont listen to some of my friend who say this seminar would be a waste of money...

Keep up the good work Louis Pang for organizing this event and hopefully there will be another session next year or maybe end of this year!

I was firing two remote flash using my E3 and the result is quite satisfactory. However the EP1 does a better job thanks to it built in soft filter effect.
